Time for Celebration

January 28, 2015 by Foster Feel 1 Comment

Time-for-Celebration-newCelebration means enjoying the moment and memorizing the things. If we are ready to celebrate our first anniversary or valentine day or new year eve then why not a first year of parenting. It’s all about memorizing good things done in the whole year. Here are some reasons why you should celebrate the first birthday of the baby:

  1. Relax n Reward yourself:

Celebration is for you not for your Baby.  Celebrate the day for you as you have successfully completed a year of a parenting and you know how tough it is. You must had changed your routine for  your little one you must have cut off your work load which you enjoyed a lot even you had cut off your social relationship up to certain level  So this is the right time for you to take a little break and think about yourself.  Get relax and be proud how gracefully you have handled all the changes.

  1.      Achieved milestone:

One year!!!!!! You must have feeling like “it’s been one year!”  Or “I can’t believe it!” Or “sometimes time just flies” and yes with kids time really flies.  But did you notice how much you have learned in this one year? How much your kid learned in this one year? Your kid taught you how to have patience, how to enjoy small things, love is more than enough and many more. your kid learned to cry eat sit crawl stand and may be ready to walk or already started walking, he/she is able to understand your small instruction and started feeling you and your love and many more things……..don’t you think this is the perfect thing to celebrate and say “what a good achievement” to you and your kid.

  1. Create memories:

If you think your baby won’t remember anything then yes you are perfectly right and that’s why it’s good to click some pictures and shoot videos to create memories. You can show that to your little one when he/she will be toddler and trust me they will really enjoy it a lot and feel very special.

  1. Having a field trip:

May be your kid will forget everything but trust me he/she will definitely learn one thing and that is birthday means cake candles balloons and fun  And what can be the better way to teach the things other than the actual field trip.

  1.  Time to introduce your baby to the world:

If your baby is premature or gone through medical surgery when born you might needed to take care of him/her a little more for the first year and in this case  you might not got a chance to introduce your baby to the world in proper way. One year is enough time to settle down so if you twodigits game haven’t introduce your baby till the day this is the perfect time to introduce your baby to the world.

It’s okay if you don’t want to have a big party or so many people for celebration but at least you can enjoy the day the way you want.  Infect it’s good to invite known people (family members and some friends) in your party rather than having a grand celebration.  In this way kid will able to know that the family doesn’t end with 3 or 4 people. This really helps him to get idea about social life especially if yours is a nuclear family.
